Why Luggage Tags Are Essential? Sharing Some Of My Real-life Experiences.

Live with no excuses and travel with no regrets ~ Oscar Wilde

Wilde’s idea of travel is correct. We come across several bottlenecks and guilt-stricken experiences about travel that it makes forget why we’re traveling in the first place.

Luggage Tags

Anyway, have you been in a frenzy of finding your luggage on the carousel? If yes, this is for you. Attaching of luggage tags on your trolleys help you quickly identify in the swarm of luggage pouring over the carousel.

We rarely condone the mistake of someone taking another’s bag at the airport.

That. Simply. Cannot. Happen.

I realized, in one instance, where a gentleman mistook my Red, 18” AT trolley for his ‘blue-red’ AT and swiftly passed through an exit door. When I hurriedly ran to stop him from driving away, he was taken aback. But, he realized immediately and apologized profusely. I took off with an – it is okay – remark.

That day made me realize how crucial it is to have bag tags with name & details. I know some people would rather make sketch marks or use marker pens to ‘identify’ their bags, but that’s too gross for a bag to bear. We know it’s not a living thing, but then, they aren’t supposed to get defaced like that.

Some travelers also write prolonged details on papers and paste it on their bags. This is unnecessary and downright risky for sure. You should only put your name & contact number for ‘details’ required. Putting your address may invite unsolicited guests at home. You should prefer collecting the bag personally (if possible).
